ITESO Clean Laboratories and Biotech Areas

The challenge: Executive project, engineering crossover, and clean room execution for biotechnology, for both educational and professional purposes within the ITESO Technology Park, hosting specially adapted classrooms for biotechnology and health sciences courses.

Within the program, spaces were requested to be adapted to have a clear view of the instructor, as well as special facilities with laminar flow hoods, special gas outlets, and a formulation room with ISO 7 air quality certification. In addition to this, a raised access floor was adapted to accommodate special HVAC, gas, IT, and electrical installations.

 

The result of the effort of various groups of specialists in their field was the conclusion of these classrooms to satisfaction, currently operational for ITESO students.
