Cervantes College Costa Rica

The challenge: The main challenge of this project lay in transforming a building previously designed for another purpose into a functional and modern educational environment. It was necessary to overcome the structural and architectural limitations of the original build

This project encompassed the expansion, remodeling, and construction of administrative areas, classrooms, teacher lounges, bathrooms, and a passenger elevator at Colegio Cervantes Costa Rica, owned by Colegio Cervantes AC and located within its premises.

The remodeling and optimization of teacher areas and common spaces at Colegio Cervantes Costa Rica were a comprehensive effort to modernize and enhance the educational infrastructure. This included updating main accesses, implementing advanced security systems, reconfiguring common areas and service spaces, as well as adapting access routes to ensure universal accessibility. The design approach focused on simplicity and functionality, using natural and unadorned materials to achieve a modern and timeless aesthetic. Conscious efforts were made to avoid passing trends, prioritizing the durability and longevity of the design, ensuring that the building ages gracefully and remains relevant in the future.
